O assassinato do empresário Marcos Kitano por Elize Matsunaga, em 2012, e o sequestro e assassinato da jovem Eloá, em 2008, vão virar filme. A direção das produções ficará por conta de Marcelo Braga e Maurício Eça, responsáveis pelos true crimes Maníaco do Parque e A Menina que Matou os Pais.
O homicídio do executivo da Yoki, cometido por Matsunaga, será a base para um filme de ficção, cuja intenção é examinar não só o crime em si, como também suas motivações complexas e a cobertura sensacionalista do caso.
No filme, Matsunaga será a protagonista de uma trama sobre amor e vingança, suas complexas motivações que expõe os segredos de um casamento aparentemente perfeito em um julgamento chocante. A produção deve começar as gravações no primeiro semestre de 2025.
O elenco principal está em estágios finais de negociação e será anunciado em breve.
Caso Eloá
Já o caso Eloá também será a base para um filme de ficção, mas este ainda está nos estágios iniciais de desenvolvimento. Em 2008, a garota de 15 anos foi feita refém pelo ex-namorado Lindemberg Fernandes, de 22 anos. Depois de cinco dias em cárcere privado, a jovem foi baleada na cabeça e na virilha e não resistiu aos ferimentos.
