O Zenit sinalizou ao Flamengo que pretende pagar a multa rescisória à vista para levar o meia Gerson para a Rússia. Com isso, está nas mãos do meia aceitar ou não uma possível transferência.
Os valores podem pesar na negociação e a decisão está nas mãos do atleta, que vê oportunidade financeira interessante, diante da idade mais avançada para o mercado europeu. Gerson completou 28 anos em maio.
A multa rescisória do jogador é de 25 milhões de euros (R$ 159 milhões). Caso o montante seja pago pelos russos, não há muito o que o Flamengo possa fazer.
Uma possível transferência do meia só deve acontecer depois da disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes. O Flamengo está no grupo D e estreia no dia 16 contra o Espérance, da Tunísia.
A passagem de Gerson pelo Flamengo
Gerson renovou com o rubro-negro em abril deste ano, e seu atual contrato é válido até dezembro de 2030.
Esta é a segunda passagem dele no Ninho do Urubu. Gerson chegou ao rubro-negro em 2019 e, dois anos depois, foi vendido para o Olympique de Marselha.
Em 2023, o Flamengo repatriou o jogador por aproximadamente 16 milhões de euros. Desde então, o camisa 8 se consolidou como uma das principais peças do elenco rubro-negro e vem sendo convocado para defender a Seleção Brasileira.
