Alerta de tsunami é emitido após terremoto atingir a Indonésia

Um alerta de tsunami foi emitido na Indonésia, após o país asiático ser atingido por um terremoto atingir o Mar das Molucas. O aviso foi emitido nesta quarta-feira (1º/4) pela Administração Oceânica e Atmosférica Nacional (NOAA) dos Estados Unidos.

Segundo a instituição, o possível tsunami poderá afetar não só a Indonésia, mas também as Filipinas e Malásia.

Anteriormente, o Centro Sismológico Europeu-Mediterrâneo (EMSC) emitiu registrou um terremoto de magnitude 7.4 na Indonésia. O tremor é considerado de alto grau segundo a Escala Richter.
