A Polícia Federal se manifestou contrária à devolução dos bens do general Walter Souza Braga Netto. A defesa dele havia pedido, em 15 de janeiro, ao ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), que restituísse os aparelhos apreendidos pela PF durante investigações sobre uma suposta trama golpista. Entre os itens estão celular, computador e pendrives.
Moraes pediu que a PF se manifestasse sobre o pedido. No documento enviado ao STF, a polícia ressaltou que “entende necessária a manutenção da custódia dos referidos bens apreendidos na PET 12.100/DF, para fins de eventual confronto e realização de nova extração pericial”.
Obstrução de Justiça
Braga Netto está preso desde 14 de dezembro do ano passado por obstrução de Justiça. O militar é um dos indiciados no inquérito que investigou a tentativa de golpe de Estado para impedir a posse do presidente eleito Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
O ex-ministro de Bolsonaro foi preso em casa, no bairro de Copacabana, no Rio de Janeiro. Segundo a PF, Braga Netto teria tentado obter informações sigilosas sobre o acordo de colaboração premiada de Mauro Cid, ex-ajudante de ordens do presidente Jair Bolsonaro. As informações são de Metrópoles.
