A Suprema Corte dos Estados Unidos considerou ilegal nesta sexta-feira (20/2) as tarifas globais do presidente do país, Donald Trump. As tarifas dizem respeito às “taxas recíprocas” impostas em abril de 2025 pelo republicano.

A Corte chegou a essa conclusão em uma ação judicial movida por empresas afetadas pelas tarifas e por 12 estados norte-americanos. A decisão foi por 6 votos a 3.

Para a Justiça, Trump violou a lei federal ao impor unilateralmente tarifas abrangentes em todo o mundo.
