A Polícia Civil do Rio de Janeiro apreendeu, nesta quinta-feira (21/5), 200 mil figurinhas falsificadas do álbum da Copa do Mundo 2026. A apreensão foi feita por policiais da Delegacia de Repressão aos Crimes contra a Propriedade Imaterial (DRCPIM), em Nova Iguaçu, na Baixada Fluminense.
O material estava em um compartimento de carga de um ônibus que tinha como destino a cidade do Rio de Janeiro e a Região Metropolitana.
De acordo com a Polícia Civil, a investigação continua para descobrir os locais de fabricação e distribuição.

Nesta quinta-feira (21/5), o Procon-SP (Programa de Proteção e Defesa do Consumidor) alertou os consumidores para terem atenção ao comprar materiais relacionados à Copa do Mundo. Desde março deste ano, foram registradas 238 reclamações envolvendo produtos, ofertas ou serviços relacionados ao Mundial.
O órgão identificou aumento expressivo de reclamações relacionadas à comercialização de figurinhas da Copa do Mundo. Parte das ocorrências envolve a comercialização dos itens em plataformas digitais e redes sociais, incluindo relatos de golpes, vendas de produtos falsificados, anúncios enganosos e problemas de entrega.
