A Polícia Civil do Distrito Federal (PCDF) prendeu, nesta quinta-feira (2/7), um casal suspeito de vender ilegalmente medicamentos abortivos pela internet. A ação ocorreu durante a Operação Sexto Dia, conduzida pela Delegacia Especial de Repressão aos Crimes Cibernéticos (DRCC).
Segundo a polícia, a mulher investigada, de 32 anos, atua como técnica de enfermagem em um hospital da rede pública do Distrito Federal.
A investigação aponta que os suspeitos anunciavam o medicamento em plataformas digitais e redes sociais para atrair pessoas interessadas em interromper a gravidez de forma ilegal. A polícia identificou ao menos 15 perfis utilizados pelo casal para divulgar e vender o produto em todo o Brasil.
Durante o cumprimento dos mandados de busca e apreensão expedidos pela Justiça, os policiais apreenderam aproximadamente 600 comprimidos do medicamento, cerca de R$ 60 mil em dinheiro, além de dois veículos de luxo e sete aparelhos celulares, que serão submetidos à perícia.
Além disso, segundo a corporação, o esquema já funcionava há mais de três anos.
O casal foi preso em flagrante e responderá por crime contra a saúde pública, previsto no artigo 273 do Código Penal, que trata da falsificação, corrupção, adulteração ou alteração de produtos destinados a fins terapêuticos ou medicinais. A pena pode chegar a 15 anos de reclusão.
A Polícia Civil informou que as investigações continuam para identificar possíveis envolvidos no esquema e esclarecer a origem dos medicamentos apreendidos.
